One Inch At A Time

It's In The Inches

Day 36

Cycle 1

Dear Diary,
First thing this morning, I sprung out of bed and jumped on the trusty Health-O-Meter scales. I just knew that my scales would show me more weight loss with my feeling lighter and all. Not so much! Instead, there I stood looking down at the scales and it looking back up at me as if to say...What do you want from me? Slowly, I stepped down from the scales feeling a slight defeat...
Well,  anyway..., although, the scales showed a minuscule or micro-pound weight loss, I felt lighter and for the first time, my pants were baggy in places.  Even my favorite bling jeans that I waited so long to finally wear just 2 weeks ago are getting pretty loose. I could hardly believe it and thought what's happening here?
I was both disappointed and puzzled at the same time. So, to cheer myself up, I made a Really Red Raspberry Smoothie for breakfast. Yeah!! , and Yeah!! Yummy to the first degree!!
It was soooo good, it made me do a happy dance while I drank up.
Meanwhile, I decided to check my waist measurements with my tape measure and lo and behold..., it showed that I had lost more inches. Wow! I lost inches. This is HUGELY Amazing! Here it is ...from 40 to 33 inches in 36 days.
Inch by Inch
Inch by inch, one inch at a time, The Virgin Diet and my hard work continues to payoff.  I am getting closer and closer to my weight loss goal-one inch at a time.
Next time, I'll use my tape measure when my scales don't show any weight loss progress before I go getting myself in such a tizzy.
Its a happy ending anyway.
Diary Goodbye,
A JJ Virgin Diet Follower
