The Virgin Diet's Secret Sauce

Shhh!

"Secret's In The Sauce"

Cycle 1

Diary of a JJ Virgin  Diet Follower

Hey Diary,
Remember that line in the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes", by actress Cicely Tyson, "Secret's in the sauce". Well, that's exactly how I feel about The Virgin Diet... the secrets is indeed in the
sauce.
Secret Sauce I

For me, the secret sauce is the wonderful tasty fruity berry smoothies that I enjoy first thing each morning. For without this powerfully nutritious element of a smoothie,  there would be no Virgin Diet.  And, that's a fact!
However, but, seriously speaking, there really is a secret in the blended mixture of nutritious yellow pea protein, frozen organic berries, fiber-full chia and flax seeds, and refreshing (So Delicious) coconut milk. During the blending an amazing magical process takes places, creating the most deliciously, nutritiously, spectacular meal in a glass ever. That's the secret sauce..., a meal in a glass that provides the most satiety that I could ever be imagined.
In facts, the secret in the sauce element of The Virgin Diet smoothie is critical to the success of the Virgin Diet itself.
For example,  my sister started The Virgin Diet 2½ years ago without the smoothie. At least, she tried to start The Virgin Diet without making and drinking the smoothie, primarily because she didn't want to invest in a blender. Big mistake! Huge mistake!  Why?
Okay, here's what happened .... , my sister's meals consisted of  only eating the grass fed beef, chicken, turkey, wild caught seafood, organic fruit and vegetables, but...no smoothie ( I just can't phantom that). In which consequently,  resulted in minimal to no weight loss for her. After one month of bear minimal weight loss and no weight loss response on the scales, she knew something needed to be done. She later read where JJ Virgin expressed the importance of daily smoothie meal replacements. That's when she rushed out and got a blender and started drinking daily smoothies. She immediately began to lose approximately 2 pounds a day. The weight loss process kicked-in with turbo!
Today, my sister, maintains a total weight loss of 55 lbs. She looks and feel fabulous!
Needless to say, The Secret Is In the Sauce... and the secret sauce is The Virgin Diet smoothie!
So Diary let's just keep on keeping on!

The Virgin Diet Reintroduction

Reintroduction is Coming!

Cycle 1

Diary of a JJ Virgin Diet Follower

Dear Diary,
As a JJ Virgin Diet Follower, I am extremely satisfied my amazing 35 lbs. weight loss results. The funny thing, I initially thought that The Virgin Diet was just another diet fad, however, nothing could be further from the truth. The Virgin Diet is a dietary lifestyle, an extraordinary way of life. A way to eat clean healthy foods, stay healthy, feel fabulous! Awesome!
So now, it's time for me to revisit Cycle 2, the reintroduction phase of The Virgin Diet.   That's where I reintroduce one of the forbidden food back into my diet. Remember the last time I reintroduced one of the forbidden foods....I got sick! Really sick!
I reintroduced gluten back into my diet and it made me feel very sick. I felt nausea, stomach ache, dizzy, and totally out of it. That when I discovered that I was unable to tolerate gluten.
This time I will be reintroducing eggs back into my diet to see if I can tolerate them. The best time to reintroduce the new food is on Monday. So, next Monday, I will reintroduce eggs.
In the meantime, I will stay in Cycle 1 and continue to have my breakfast smoothie (drink within one hour of waking up), and eat clean lean protein, wild caught seafood, organic veggies and drink plenty of filtered/spring bottled water.
Reintroduction is coming soon... Monday.
Later Diary,

Purple Blues

Purple Blues Smoothie

Cycle 1

Diary of a JJ Virgin Diet Follower

Hey Diary,
Today, Prince was found dead and in just hearing the news made me feel a certain way. MSNBC played all of his wonderful music and videos, reminiscent of the 80's over and over.  They also talked about some of his anonymous philanthropic efforts. Wow!  What an icon! Sorry, I just wanted to mention Prince.... and that his music will live on.
In honor of Prince and celebrate his legacy, I've created a Purple Blues Smoothie.
What's that?
Here's the recipe for the
 Purple Blues Smoothie
1 cup coconut water
1cup of blueberries(smaller berries are darker and sweeter)
1 scoop of pea protein
2 tablespoons Chia seeds(black chia seeds)
Blend it up and drink it up!!

Mmmm so good!

Want To Get A Smaller Waistline?

Here's How With The Virgin Diet

Cycle 1

Dear Diary,
My decision to become a JJ Virgin Diet Follower was the best thing that I could have ever done. Here's why. My JJ Virgin Diet journey began on January 1, 2016, and after a couple of days of procrastination and contemplation, I officially started Cycle 1, the first phase of The Virgin Diet in which I tossed out all the foods that contained any soy, peanut, sugar and artificial sweeteners, corn, dairy, and gluten, adopted a healthy new lifestyle by eating clean lean protein, healthy fats, non starchy veggies, and high-fiber, low-glycemic carbs foods. So on January 5, 2016, I embarked on an amazing get healthy, weight loss journey. It results have been incredibly spectacular because in the interim and to date, I have lost 34 lbs. I am down 2 dress size and getting close to a three jean sizes down.
It's wild! Not only have I've lost weight, but my waistline has gone from 40 inches to 30 inches. Take a look!

 Awesome!

That's 10 inches..... I  can hardly believe it myself. Sometimes, I have to pinch myself to see if I am dreaming.  I have to say that I owe my weight loss success to The Virgin Diet... and me for being so discipline.
But really, this nutritiously balanced diet is so easy to follow and well formatted by JJ Virgin herself. The Virgin Diet book by JJ Virgin is a very useful reference tool and makes a great read. I read and review it often.
Question: How Did I Get A Smaller Waist?
Answer: The Virgin Diet
Diary Thanks for listen.

Why High Protein Breakfast?

Smoothies

Cycle 1
Diary of a JJ Virgin Diet Follower
Dear Diary,
I just knew that my wonderful breakfast smoothie had more going for it than taste. I recently read about a study that linked high a protein breakfast (like my wonderful smoothie) to weight loss. Apparently, skipping breakfast or eating a low protein breakfast can cause increased weight gain.
That's why it's important to take the time to drink a Very Berry Breakfast Smoothie every morning.. It is loaded with high protein and gets my engine(that's me) started for the day.
According to JJ Virgin( The Virgin Diet book), a recent study compared a high carb breakfast to a low carb breakfast and found that higher protein breakfast slowed down stomach emptying, and kept ghrelin(the hunger hormone) suppressed, which improves satiety.
It's no wonder why my breakfast smoothie keeps the urge to snack or eat between breakfast and lunch at bay. I drink my smoothie within 1 hour of waking up and I am totally full and remain satisfied for more that 4 hours. So amazing! It's such a wonderful feeling too!
The kicker is that everything that I need to fulfill my nutritious breakfast requirements is in my morning smoothie. There's pea protein(not soy or whey, but yellow pea plant protein), coconut milk, chia or flax seed(fiber), and of course, frozen organic berries or throw in some kale or almond nut butter. My smoothie really make my day and it easy to blend up and sip while driving to work.
Spectacular!
JJ Virgin recommends having the smoothie first thing each day, but its good to know that I can also have one for dinner as well, if I like.
Drinking filtered spring water between meals and smoothie is also an important element to this healthy weight loss program. 8oz+8oz+8oz+8oz+8oz+8oz +8oz+8oz=64oz.  Now, that how many glasses of water I should have per day.
I'm very close, about 48 oz. and working toward that 64 oz. mark.
Drink more spring filtered water daily.

Sticking with The Virgin Diet all the way!
Diary it really a beautiful thing!

Portion Control With The Virgin Diet

Help Yourself  But Don't Over Eat

Cycle 1

Diary of a Virgin Diet Follower

Dear Diary
Planning menus for the Virgin Diet are a lot more easier now than before. The Virgin Diet Plate (a template that shows appropriate food portions and contents) is my road map that guides me in selecting good healthy healing foods, spices and supplements for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Timing is everything, so, I make sure that I have a meal every 4-6 hours, three meals a day and a snack between meals. Drinking of plenty of water between meals helps curb my appetite.
Here is todays menu:
           Breakfast
Red Raspberry Smoothie
1 cup frozen red raspberries(raspberries have the highest fiber content)
1 cup of coconut milk
1 tablespoon of flaxseeds(I alternate between flax and chia seeds)
1½ scoop of pea protein
1 sprinkle of Stevia
Blend together until smooth and drink up
Drink smoothie/shake within 1 hour of waking up( if possible)

Lunch
Zesty Lime Cilantro Shrimp and Brown Rice Pasta Salad
Brown Rice Cakes
Fresh squeezed lemonade

Dinner
Avocado Salad with Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil
Roasted Free-Range Chicken
Remember portion size make a difference.
Diary , keep on keeping on

Detox Rock

You Rock On The Virgin Diet

Cycle 1

Diary of a Virgin Diet Follower

Hey Diary,
Here's a great way to get your detox rock on!
Detox and cleansing the body helps rid it of all the toxin that can jeopardize my health and potentially make me gain weight.
Although, detox doesn't have to mean that I starve myself or gulp down and drink some tasteless concoction to feel better and lose weight. I'd rather just be a Virgin Diet Follower and detox in Cycle 1.
For me, the best way to rock the detox is to:
  (beat, music beat)        Rock! Rock!
                                     Rock Your Detox
                               You better rock your detox
                                      Rock your detox
                                You better rock your detox
Purge all the stuff your don't need
Get to detox to increase your speed
It's not hard, if you just try
If rock with the detox you'll be on fire
                                           Rock! Rock!
                                     Rock Your Detox
                               You better rock your detox
                                      Rock your detox
                                You better rock your detox
Rock your detox (beat, music, beat)
I'm singing my detox song because I'm in Cycle 1, the detox phase of The Virgin Diet, and finally realized how beneficial detox really is. The feeling is incredible when I detox, I slept better, food tastes better, I'm more focused-no brain fog, skin is more supple and smooth, and the best part I'm losing weight.
While on Cycle 1, and detoxing, its a good thing that I don't have to starve myself.  So I drop the 7 forbidden foods(soy, eggs, sugar and artificial sweeteners, gluten, peanuts, diary, and corn) in exchange for something better.
Here are some JJ Virgin's tips on what to eat during detox:

  •  Clean Lean Protein: Have 4-6 ounces of grass fed beef(lamb is also good choice), cold-water wild caught( I love sock-eye salmon) or free-range chicken at each meal. Protein smoothies with pea protein powder for meal replacement blended with chia, flax, raw greens, like kale, unsweetened coconut milk or almond milk
  • Sulfur-Containing Foods: Helps the liver to detox.  Broccoli, garlic, cabbage, and onions make excellent sulfur sources
  • Green Vegetable: Lots and lots of organic green veggies. Add cilantro to meals, its an effective detoxifier
  • Fiber: Raw nuts, seeds, legumes, berries, apple are excellent fiber, add a scoop of chia /flax fiber to protein smoothies.
  • Water: Flush, Flush, Flush. Drink plenty of filtered spring water in the morning and throughout the entire day to flush out unwanted toxins
Hey that looks pretty good, the food that I can have is nutritiously balanced and no , I not starving either. In fact, the food is quite filling and satisfyingly delicious and I rarely food cravings.

Diary that's the way I  Rock My Detox.
Keep on keeping on

The Great Weigh -In

It's Time for The Great Weigh-In

Cycle 1

Dairy of a JJ Virgin Diet Follower

Dear Diary,
The best part of  The Virgin Diet is the weigh-ins. Why? Well, since I have been following The Virgin Diet, I have witnessed  amazing weight loss. Each and every time I mount the scales, I experience pleasurable weight loss success. Although, there were a couple of times, I had a stubborn plateau issue that bought my weight loss momentum to a halt, but, none the less and for the most part,  I have not gained any of my old weight back. That is uuuhuge!
Great Weigh-In

Presently, I am repeating Cycle 1 because I ate the forbidden foods while on vacation. Bad! Bad! But, it's good to know that it's not the end of the world if I screw-up and eat the off-limits foods. It's no problem! All I have to do is to just simply go back to Cycle 1 to detox and start again.
It is very important to watch my labels too and, make sure that they are clean labels that are free from any of the forbidden foods like: Soy Corn, Peanuts, Eggs, Dairy, Sugar and Artificial Sweetener, and Gluten. Sometimes forbidden foods crept in through some of the most unobtrusive manners. For instance, before I ever knew of The Virgin Diet, I use to eat loads of salad, nearly drenching it with salad dressings that were full of soy, sugar, dairy, eggs, and corn. Back then, I often wondered why it was so hard for me lose weight. I did not realize that something as innocent as "salad dressing" could be the culprit for my weight gain and inability to lose weight. But it was. By the way, now, I  either make my own oil and balsamic vinaigrette on my salads or some Branford's Original Spicy Salad Dressing(it's really good).
The Virgin Diet has been a best thing that could ever happen at this stage of my life.  I feel great! Especially, during the great weigh-ins! Now, when I look down at scales and see my weight loss progress....I smile, and do my happy dance.
So Diary,
Have a great day!

Decide to Lose Weight

Sticking With The Plan

Cycle 1

Diary of a JJ Virgin Diet Follower

Dear Diary,
The Virgin Diet is the best thing that could have happened to me.  See, I was on a upward diet roller coaster that was constantly going up. However, when I saw myself fast approach the 200 pound mark on my scales, my life came to a screeching halt. I really didn't know what to do. I was eating all of the right foods....or so I thought, to find out that I was eating all of the wrong foods.
My sister had been on The Virgin Diet for about 8 months and I noticed that her voice over the phone was happier as see told me that she had lost 35 pounds.  I brushed it off as nothing, until I went to visit her and by then she had lost 50 pounds. She looked fabulous! I just couldn't believe my eyes. It was amazing!
So I came home and just could not get her out of my mind and how good that she look after looking all that weight. Her skin was rosy and interestingly enough, she had no flab, the back of her arms were tight. What kind of diet is that, I thought? It was at that very moment that I decided to get on board and become a JJ Virgin Diet follower.

I hit the ground running as I started Cycle 1 and its been wonderful every since. For me, sticking to The Virgin Diet may seem routine for some, but as for me, I like to mix it up and make it exciting.  For instance, I like a different type of organic berry smoothie everyday. Sometimes organic strawberries one day and sometimes organic blueberries another day or organic raspberries, but never the same berry smoothie all the time. That's boring! The same thing goes for my meals, I like to vary my the menu for lunch and dinner. I also visit www.skinnyum.blogspot.com for some delicious  lunch , dinner or snacks recipes ideas.  The food is amazingly good.
Sticking with The Virgin is easy, but stop it would be the hardest part.
I love it!!
So Diary, Keep on keeping on.

The Process of Elimination

What To Do During Cycle 1?

Cycle 1

Dairy of a JJ Virgin Diet Follower

Hey Diary,
I have to repeat Cycle 1 because while I was on vacation, the temptation was so great that I gave in to foods that were not part of the JJ Virgin Diet. I really went off the diet deep end and indulged in foods like fried calamari, fried chicken and waffles, omelets( I did have spinach and mushrooms with it, I wonder,  Does that count? the answer is No!), Budino(Italian custard) and .... okay that is enough...Stop! Stop! Stop! I get the picture.  My vacation was fun, but it really interrupted The Virgin Diet and now I have to repeat Cycle 1, the elimination phase.
Hydrate Always
The elimination phase, Cycle 1 is critical to the success of The Virgin Diet because it actually sets the stage for entire duration of the diet. This ios my second time on Cycle 1, but the first time on I always practiced the JJ Virgin's 7 Steps to 7 Pounds in 7 Days.
Here are the JJ Virgin's 7 Steps:
  1. Drop the 7 high-FI(Food Intolerant Foods) Foods for 21 days. The 7 high-FI foods are: Soy, Corn, Sugar and artificial sweeteners, Peanuts, Gluten, Eggs and Diary. The idea is to avoid the 7 foods for the 21 day period. I found the best way to do that is to get rid both my pantry and fridge of the 7 foods first. Get them out of the house! That's what helped me with initial cravings.
  2. Then I learned how to assemble my meals and eat from The Virgin Plate. The Virgin Plate showed me how to assemble meals with clean lean proteins, healthy fats, fiber, glycemic carbs, and vegetables(non starchy veggies), goodbye white mashed potatoes with butter.
  3. Replace one meal with a smoothie( I like my smoothie to start my day) It's great.
  4. Eat every four to 6 hours. Eat within one hour of waking up and eat nothing the last 2-3 hour before bed. So, I have my Breakfast Smoothie within 1 hour of waking up and my last meal and snack 2 to 3 hours before bed. It's soo easy and quickly becomes routine.
  5. Drink water to stay hydrated. How much? I drink half my  body weight in ounces.  That means that if I weighed 160 lbs.  then I should drink 80 ounces of water per day.  As my weight deceases so does my water intake.
  6. Eat more of the healing foods. The healing foods are very filling and minimized my cravings . My favorite healing foods are lamb, coconut milk, kale, raspberries and apples.
  7. Eat lots and lots of fiber, JJ Virgin calls it "Fabulous Fiber". According to JJ Virgin, it's the ultimate weight loss tool. So I make sure that I have it in my toolbox.
One more, I have to make sure that I get at least 6-7 hours of sleep every night. It also helps me to lose weight. (More about that later).
These step are easy to follow and are rapidly becoming routine.
Losing weight is so much fun and the prize is a healthier me.
Diary until the next time.
Stay with it.

The Joy of the Virgin Diet

A Feel Goodness Feeling

Cycle 1

(Repeat)

Diary of a JJ Virgin Diet Follower

Dear Diary,
It's been just 48 hours since I have been back on The Virgin Diet and it feels sooo good!  I have more energy, slept much better, more focused-no foggy head, feeling lighter, and feeling goodness.
This morning, I started with weigh-in and then had a wonderful Strawberry Breakfast Smoothie. Mmm, more goodness! That's all I had for breakfast and it's so satisfying and filling that I don't need anything until lunch(last for 4-6 hours).
                    Strawberry Breakfast Smoothie Recipe
10 -12  frozen strawberries
1½  tablespoon Chia seeds
1 scoop of Growing Naturals Vanilla Yellow Pea Protein
1 cup of So Delicious unsweetened coconut milk
Blend  all until smooth and then drink it!
                     Yummy! Yummy! Yummy!

I love this diet!
The Virgin Diet has helped me better understand the importance of eating a good, clean, wholesome, and well-balanced diet.  That's why I could hardly wait to get back to it after my vacation. There is absolutely nothing... nothing... nothing like it! All the joy of The Virgin Diet!
Until later, Goodbye Diary.

The Virgin Diet Full-Time

The Virgin Diet 24/7

Cycle 1

Detox

Diary of a JJ Virgin Diary Follower

Dear Diary,

Back from my vacation, today marks the first day back on The Virgin Diet full-time, 24/7, around the clock. Being on vacation made it difficult for me to totally follow the diet and avoid the forbidden foods. Sooo.... now, its 21 Days in Cycle 1 of The Virgin Diet, where I've stopped eating the 7 hi-FI foods (forbidden foods, like the foods that I enjoyed, I mean...ahhh, ate during my vacation) and started refueling my body again with healing foods and supplements-sort of like hitting the reset button. So, anytime The Virgin Diet is interrupted by my eating any of the forbidden foods such as: soy, sugar and artificial sweeteners, corn, peanuts, eggs, diary, and gluten, even if its just one bite of a donut, I'll hit the reset button and go back to Cycle 1 for 21 days.  For instance, say that I go to my best friend's wedding where I really enjoy myself eating and drinking all the wonderful foods with most of them in the forbidden food groups. I can't just leave the event and go home, pick up and start The Virgin Diet where I left off  because now my system needs rid itself of the forbidden foods through the detoxification process. Its as simple as dropping the 7 forbidden foods (soy, sugar and artificial sweeteners, corn, peanuts, eggs, diary, and gluten)again.
The Virgin Diet is not just a full-time diet, but its a lifestyle and I love it!
I woke up this morning in Cycle 1, anxious to weigh myself and check out the damage from the vacation (surprise, surprise)-still  shows a 30 lbs. weight loss.  This amazing!
Take a LOOK!  From 195 lbs. to....   Incredible!

I guess it was all the walking and exercise that I did while on vacation.
After weighing myself, I enjoyed  my favorite morning berry smoothie. As always it was delish!
Diary, I'm staying with this diet-full-time because it really works!

The Virgin Diet Cycle 1 Do It Again

Back from My Vacation

Cycle 1 Do Over

Dairy of A JJ Virgin Diet Follower

Dear Diary,
I returned from a two vacation today and as a JJ Virgin Diet Follower, I have to say that it has been a very uneventful two weeks. First off,  I initially had every intention of following The Virgin Diet the entire time while on vacation, until.... Well, until.... Okay,  what happened was... Since I'd packed my personal blender for the trip, I started the first couple of days of my vacation with a breakfast smoothie. Great! Right?
Wrong, while on vacation, I wanted to not only take in some of the beautiful sites, but I enjoy tasty and wonderful foods as well. Trying to stay as true to The Virgin Diet as possible, I found myself a bit overwhelmed and gave in at times. What I mean is, for instance, I had indulged into some vacation foods such as: fried calamari with marinara sauce, crab cakes, fries, fried chicken and waffles, oh, and prime grass-fed hamburger(lettuce and tomato) without the bun, and spinach omelet for breakfast.
For all that its worth, the food just didn't taste as great as I expected it  to. Not as good as back home. Hmm... anyway.
I'm just saying that I took a vacation, tried to stay totally on The Virgin Diet, but Murphy, Murphy's Law creped in.  Don't get me wrong, I had a great time, but my Virgin Diet went south.
Now, I have to go back to square one and start all over again.  Back to Cycle One for 21 days to detoxify my system from those forbidden foods.
Tomorrow will be business as usual, weigh-in, then breakfast smoothie within an hour of getting up.
So Diary, it rewind to Cycle 1 again.
Let's get started.

Keeping It Real With The Virgin Diet

Look What Happened
When I Ran Out of Protein And Flax
Cycle 2
Week 2
Diary of a JJ Virgin Diet Follower

Hey Diary,
I am out of Protein and Flax seed and still on the road.  Although,  I am unable to find the pea protein, flax or chia seeds for my smoothie, I continue to get my clean protein and organic veggies requirements. I can't wait to get back to normalcy.  Without the pea protein and flax seed, I can't make my breakfast smoothie. As a matter of fact, I can't make any smoothie, period! Now, what am I going to do? This has totally interrupted my Cycle 2 regimen of The Virgin Diet.
Anytime a Cycle of The Virgin Diet is interrupted,  JJ Virgin suggests to go back to Cycle 1 and start over.
And so, I guess what?.... I'm back in Cycle 1 of The Virgin Diet.
That's right...Cycle 1!
Reset, Reset, Reset! Hit the reset button!
Let me see, Cycle 1 is the elimination phase of The Virgin Diet, where I avoid 7 foods for 21 days. The seven foods to avoid are: soy, corn, gluten, sugar and artificial sweeteners, peanuts, eggs and dairy. Yep! None of those 7 "high-FI" (food intolerance) foods.
Get Ready, Get Set, Go!..
Okay Diary,
Lets do it!

Port-A-Diet

Diet On The Fly
Cycle 2
Week 2
Diary of a JJ Virgin Diet Follower

Dear Diary,
I've found that the best way to stay on the Virgin Diet when travelling is to make it portable.  Recently, while traveling to and visiting in Washington D.C. , I continued to stay on my smoothie schedule by packing a small personal, portable blender, pea protein powder packets, and flax pak. I was able to get some frozen  berries and coconut water at a wonderful organic marketplace.  Just enough for one smoothie a day. Fabulous!
Each morning, I prepared my breakfast smoothie and that how I started my day.
Afterward,  I set out for some site-seeing in the Virginia and Washington area. The smoothie was both energizing and filling, so much that I was able extend my next meal for 5 hours. Walking and walking.  And did I mention walking? Hopping or and off the subway to get to the various sites-the smoothie seemed to give me the stamina I needed. Great exercise too! Incredible!
The rest of the day, I was very careful about what I ate, although,
trying to find those  gluten-free menus at all the restaurants was somewhat challenging,  it was do-able. I was amazing drinksto find grass-fed beef and bison and farm raised grass-fed chicken and turkey as well as organic vegetables and fruit on the menus. That was sooo nice!  For my veggie requirements, I stayed with fresh salads, organic, of course, drizzled with olive, oil and balsamic vinegar. I use olive oil and balsamic vinegar as my salad dressing because some many salad dressings are made with corn syrup and soy.
The daily breakfast smoothies and making sure that watched my portion size and used the Virgin Diet plate model for each meal was key.
Portorizing my Virgin Diet and taking where ever I go helped me not to overeat or eat the wrong foods, while I"m away from home.
Okay Diary,
Until later.

Sprinting Through The Virgin Diet

Like a Virgin Diet

Olympian

Cycle 2

Day 84
Diary of a JJ Virgin Diet Follower

Dear Diary,
Being JJ Virgin Diet Follower can oftentimes be quite challenging. There were so many hurddles to jump over,  and hoops to jump through in order to reach my weight loss goal.  Just like an Olympic sprinter, I've faced many obstacles, but I didn't give up and I didn't quit. I realized that nothing worth having or doing is never easy. Because if it were anyone would do it.
Back in January , when I started the Virgin Diet journey-Cycle 1, I kept  thinking.....it's only for 21 days...just 3 weeks.  Don't look back keep going. I told myself that could do it. I held fast to my dream and I stayed focus. Before long the first 21 days was over and I'd lost 15 lbs.  Having lost a total of 30 lbs.,now in Cycle 2. If did it ,anyone can...just try it for 21 days.
Never quit because in the end you will win.
Stay strong Diary,
